Syracuse football recruiting: 2017 linebacker Nadarius Fagan commits to SU

Class of 2017 linebacker Nadarius Fagan committed to Syracuse on Sunday afternoon, per multiple reports.

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Fagan, out of Miami Southridge (Florida) High School, is ranked with three stars on Rivals.com and 247Sports.com’s composite rankings. He doesn’t have a star rating from Scout. He’s the second-highest ranked Syracuse commit by 247Sport’s composite rankings, behind only quarterback commit Tommy DeVito, who recently earned a fourth-star per Syracuse.com.

Fagan held offers from schools with very strong football programs, such as Alabama, Louisiana State and Nebraska. Per his Hudl.com profile, Fagan runs a 4.55 40-yard dash and completes the shuttle drill in 4.33 seconds.

Syracuse’s Class of 2017 now has three linebackers, as Fagan joins Tyrell Richards and Keirston Johnson. He’s also the fourth Florida commit in the class.
